Virgin Party
Proud of his links with Virgin through his 9 years
as the presenter on Virgin Atlantic's in-flight entertainment for younger viewers,
Gareth was very happy when he was invited to the famous Virgin Summer Party
at Kiddlington in Oxfordshire. This year's theme was the Millennium, with various
areas of the massive party broken down into various sections of history. Gareth and his guest Violet Berlin (of the
Big Bang) could be found having a very nice time thank-you-very-much in the middle
ages, and the 80's and 90's section, but best of all was the Future section,
with a giant mock-up of a space shuttle painted in
Virgin Atlantic colours.
The last time Gareth attended a Virgin party, Richard
Branson and Gareth jumped into the lake together to get the party really rocking.
No such shenanigans went on this year, the closest Gareth got to water this time
was on the river boat ride, Gareth remained
perfectly dry.
