Weekenders on Tour – Part One
Gareth and Andrea were out and about at the end of June for a BBC Wales Road
Show at the Hayes in central Cardiff. Broadcast live as usual on Saturday morning,
the show was a collaborative venture between Radio Wales stars Owen Money, Frank
Henessey and The Weekenders themselves. Gareth and Andrea took to the
stage to run the "Quiz That Doesn't Ask How?" and "Everyday When
I Wake Up I Thank The Lord They're Not Welsh".
The special event was
organized to celebrate the first game at the new Millennium stadium. The celebrations
were in order too, as the Welsh Rugby Team comprehensively beat South Afric.
