And the Winner is...
At the end of August, Gareth's love of live presenting was called upon once more, when he was asked to host the prestigious ECTS Awards, for excellence in interactive entertainment.
That's computer and video games, to you and me.
Held live on-stage at the video game industry's big European show, ECTS, the awards ceremony drew a large crowd, since the definitive titles of the year were due to be honoured.
As director of Game-Pad, the only video games show currently on television, Jones was well placed to ad-lib about the winners, as one-by-one the named individuals struggled through the crowd to take the stage to receive their award.
"I was amazed at how much I knew about the games, actually" remarked Gareth, "And I was equally amazed how many of the award winners had already appeared in reports on the show. This confirmed to me that Game-Pad is choosing the right titles to feature".
