The filming takes place in a London studio, with reports taking the team across California, Europe, and Eire, as well as the UK.
As with Game-Pad 2, the presenter of some 17 years, once more opted to direct, rather than appear on camera, and the series of 20 half hour shows almost passed by without even the smallest glimpse of him.
Almost. For the penultimate episode, Gareth was temporarily lured back in front of camera, to present a report from the Le Mans 24 Hour race in France, and subsequently to recreate the endurance race back in London, with a computer simulation and a team of 4 eager drivers.
