Stepping Out With the Stars
During the current edition of BLAST!, Gareth races alongside a Formula One legend, takes on Action Man, and meets a top pop group.
This month's edition was certainly no tragedy: Gareth hung out with UK pop sensation Steps for the day. Two band members, Lisa and "H", were so glad to meet up with fellow Welshman Gareth that they made him an offer he couldn't refuse. While Gareth interviewed the rest of the band about the new Steps dolls, they said they'd keep his son entertained. Baby Tycho had a great time, but was too young to realize he had celebrity baby-sitters!
Also in BLAST! Gareth attempts to out-pace Action Man on an assault course, a tough task when the part of Action Man was played by a former Gladiator!
Blast! also follows Gareth to the Johnny Herbert Karting Challenge 2000 where he races alongside other celebrities and professional racing drivers to raise money for the children's charity SPARKS.
