Gareth in his pyjamas?
A few days before Christmas Gareth was asked to appear on ITV's breakfast
slot GMTV. The subject of Gareth's piece? Toys for Big Boys. Talk about
a boy in his element! Gareth was asked to prepare a list of stuff that he would
like to find in his stocking on Christmas day. Scale model Formula One cars, radio
controlled cars, electronic organizers, digital video cameras, if it was on
Gareth's wish list it was on the show for Gareth to demonstrate.
"Best of all the stuff was Ralf Schumacher's race suit," said Gareth. "It
was the real thing, signed by Ralf guaranteeing its authenticity! I was lucky
enough to take the suit home overnight and take it with me to the programme
early in the morning, I put the suit on as soon as I got it home, I couldn't
resist it, it fitted perfectly, Ralf and I are almost exactly the same size, when
it came time to go to bed I didn't want to take it off!"
