Banging it Out

Gareth and Violet, 1,000 years BC
Work continues on the 5th series of ITV's popular 'kitchen sink' science show, The Big Bang, which hits the airwaves this month.
Location filming has taken Gareth a mile underground (i.e. deep), 250 feet high in an aeroplane (i.e. low) and even 3,000 years back in time in an authentic re-creation of the iron age (i.e.. to a quarry near Bradford!).
"I've seen the first four shows which are already completed" said Gareth back at home in London today during a 48 hour break, "And
the new graphics and studio set look fantastic. We were hoping this would be
the best series yet, and I think we might have done it!"
Judge for yourself, as The Big Bang starts its 13 week run on 18th April at 4.45pm on ITV.
