I toyed with buying a Toyota
But a hybrid's not my style,
I like electronics, calculators
And fuel is expensive if you pay by the mile
The fuel cell's for fools,
Hell, I'm not sure if it will even work.
I don't want water in my exhaust pipe,
Even if my car's a Merc
Hydrogen sounds like an option
A way of staying in motion
Though, like you I must admit,
I'm worried about an explosion.
I've decided to buy myself one of those electric cars,
I know it’s not large,
But at least I'm exempt from paying
The congestion charge.
