Writing
Gareth has written scripts for most of his television programmes,
and has written for television on subjects as diverse as space (BBC1, ITV1
and C4), F1 Racing (Virgin Atlantic inflight and BBC R5 Live); computers
and the internet (ITV1, BBC Knowledge and BBC Radio); motoring, aircraft,
rockets and other vehicles (ITV1 and BBC1) pop music (BBC Radio); and cars
and video games (ITV1 and Bravo).... In fact, Gareth writes for TV about
anything and everything in his range of interest. However, here are a few
of the things that Gareth has written that *weren't* for TV...
Gareth wrote and edited a multimedia history of
"The Space Race"
published on CD ROM in 1995.

Gareth is responsible for the translation of lyrics from English into Welsh for the 1989 Alarm album "Newid", "Change".
In 1999 Gareth wrote and hosted an interactive lecture How Can You Feel The Force? performed to an audience of 4,500 over three days at Alton Towers Science, Engineering and Technology Week.
Gareth has co-written a film screenplay with screenwriter and producer John Coombs entitled "Marry Your Land". It is a love story set against the backdrop of a reluctantly-changing Welsh village in the 1970s.Unfortunately, having written it, Gareth and John were too busy with paying work to ever get round to sending it to anybody. If any bona fide filmmaker wants to have a go at turning it into a movie, please get in touch!
In 1996 Gareth single-handedly set-up and maintained this official website, Gareth
Jones Online, relaunched in 2004 as GarethJones.TV
