Radio and Voice Work

Currently Gareth writes, presents, produces, edits, mixes, and publishes "Gareth Jones On Speed" a unique motorsport podcast.

Gareth has hosted a number of live Radio programmes over the years,

Starting with TX-1 for BBC Radio Wales in 1988, "PopCall" for Radio 5 in 1993 and also the pioneering weekly Sunday morning live computer/lifestyle programme "The Big Byte", as well as heavyweight astronomy series "Spaced Out" during his two years with BBC Radio 5Live between 1994-1996. He also hosted his own live Saturday morning entertainment and music series "The Weekenders" on BBC Radio Wales for twelve months in 1998-1999. During this period, Gareth was proud to drive the decks and the desk, and thus exert both editorial and technical control.

Gareth's voice crops up all over the place, he has voiced many commercials including: Kenco Rappor, Melody Pops and Pizza Pizzazz and throughout 1999 was the voice of Nestlé Nesquik sponsors of Ant 'n Dec's SMTV Live.

In 2005 Gareth provided the voice of the narrator for a permanent audio visual installation "Frontiers" at the Waterfront Museum in Swansea.
