Drama and Acting

From his earliest days age 10 performing "Glowr Ydw I" in the National Eisteddfod of Wales In Fflint, or performing as Jimmy Osmond as a member of Clwyd Youth Theatre and getting rave reviews age 13, Gareth has "never been backward in coming forward", as he likes to say.

Gareth has an intimate knowledge of accent and dialect. The son of a Yorkshire father and a Welsh mother, and currently based in London, Leeds and Glasgow, Gareth speaks both languages in all their guises -- just ask him for a dialectal flyby of the UK and he'll take you up the West Coast, round Scotland and down the East coast with their changing accents and forms of expression.

Not only that, but having spent his youth touring the world with a rock band, Gareth does a remarkably good rendition of most nationalities' English accents -- from the Hook of Holland to the Californian coast . Oh, and when you meet him, get him to guess where you've been born and brought up – he's often right.

Because of his ear for accent, Gareth has been able to play a wide range of dramatic roles.

For the past ten years, he has starred as hundreds of characters within the historic reconstructions of The Big Bang, and How2.

He can also include period drama in his credits, having played a sixties radical in two series of 'Mwy Na Phapur Newydd' (More Than A Newspaper) a highly regarded Welsh language drama serial for S4C.
